Behind The Scenes: Solus Internal Testing, Bugs, and Environment Updates.

Coming towards the end of February, we are almost at the halfway point of this semester, meaning Solus is steadily approaching it's release! Recent updates have been focused on finalizing our level layout with all of our newly polished assets, ensuring that our environmental storytelling is up to standard.


We recently passed one of our major milestones with our first internal testing session of the semester. The grey box testing was held among members of the Games Design and Production course at the University so we could share feedback on all of the other graduate games. We will be zoning in on this feedback going forwards into the next few weeks and finalizing things further in time for our external testing.


As for challenges, there have been plenty. Check out our X page @SolusTheGame for a look at some of the more amusing bugs found in the last few weeks. Some of the changes we are most excited about this week are our new city outskirts areas, as seen below. While we still have a long way to go, we are pretty thrilled with the results so far!
